The drone industry is taking off...literally. Farmers use them to check crops, first responders use them for search and rescue, photographers, roof inspectors, construction companies and more all use drones to get the job done faster and safer!
What is part 107?
It is the FAA certification that allows you to fly drones commercially
"Commercially"- you can legally make money with your drone
Am I eligible?
If you're a first time pilot, you must:
Be at least 16 years old
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
Have no disqualifying health conditions
Pass an aeronautical knowledge exam (written test)
What kind of jobs are out there?
Crop spraying, real estate photography, roof inspections, geo-mapping, cinematography, the list goes on!
Wouldn't this be expensive?
Not as bad as you think! The written exam costs $175 and you can get started with a quality drone for under $1,000!
Most operators make that back with just a few projects
Where do I start?
That's where I come in! I offer Part 107 ground school that is clear, practical, and built to help you fully learn the material before taking your test.
